Rodman Moorhead Passes
Rodman Moorhead, who owned the 2021 Steeplechase Eclipse Award winner The Mean Queen, died Dec. 17.
Hailed as a “remarkable leader in education, healthcare, and philanthropy” by The Taft School where he was a member of the Class of 1962, he was also a graduate of Harvard College and Harvard Business School and a venture capitalist with Warburg Pincus in New York. He was a longtime board member of Stroud Water Research Center, the International Center for Journalists, and Chair of The Taft School’s Board of Trustees. He was also a member of the Foxcatcher Society of the Fair Hill Foundation and the Board of Directors of the Cheshire Hunt.
